My name is Amanda Burrell but I go by my pen/stage name, Amanda Enzo. I am an actor, singer and screenwriter from Cleveland, Ohio. I grew up in a multi-ethnic household with Italian and Afro-American influences. In school, I participated in several activities including Key Club, Swim Team, Culture Club, Student Council, Varsity Chorale, Drama Club and Track & Field. Upon graduation I also received my Cosmetology license from the state of Ohio. After graduation, I got hired for my first professional acting opportunity with Karamu House Theatre, the longest running African-American theatre in the US. In 2013, I set out for New York City to fulfill my dreams of becoming an actor. While working as a chef, I immersed myself in the world of theatre and started auditioning around the city. Since moving to New York, I have been involved in the several productions including 1001 Nights: A Rock Ballet, I Survived The Room, and touring as Glinda in The Wiz. After resigning from the Museum of Sex, I decided to head back to school and pursue degrees in Theatre and English. I plan on attending Columbia, Barnard or Sarah Lawrence for a senior college. I am currently writing a movie about the Italian mafia set in New York City in the 50's. I also have a column called Bite The Apple, in Royal Press Magazine and I'm currently working on a production called Body To Body series. I simply wish to create art and express stories that the world needs. Whether I am acting in a theatre production, managing a retail store or put in charge of a salon, I am giving everything that I got. That's one of the many great things about me. I am persistent. I give my all and put one hundred percent in everything that I do. When I'm not busy creating I like to enjoy the water. Whether I'm swimming or out on the boat or fishing, I love being by the water. I am also a nature lover. I love hiking or going outdoors and communing with nature. I am a hard hitting performer that is will stand out in a crowd. This is why people should be talking about me. I am the future.
