Whether you want to show off your new moves at a dance club or in the privacy of your own living room, JazzFunk will give you the know-how to break it down in a whole new way. Come experience this power-classworkshop that will energize your festival week and give you the workout you need to reach your physicalappetite. From ballet, modern, hip-hop to lyrical, Jazz Funk incorporates movements from other dance genres andwraps it into a funky style that is both fun and expressive.  Class begins with a series of warm-ups that willstrengthen your core, develop flexibility and prepare you for later class combinations.  Across-the- floor dance stepsand a special combination in center will give you an opportunity to flash those jazz hands and dance to dynamicnew music found in today’s pop, dubstep and R&B. Taught by Juilliard graduate, Herman Payne, whose professional career includes the international tours of Fosse and West Side Story, as well as working with suchcelebrities as Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Usher, and Whitney Houston, Herman will guide even those withtwo left feet how to move with style.  All levels welcome!
