Torch Songs are powerful, show-stopping ballads that give voice to a broken heart and unrequited love, and they exist in several different genres, including show tunes, standards, pop, rock, jazz and more. Torch songs are a powerful part of any singer's arsenal, and they can be a great way to stand out and showcase your unique abilities. This workshop will explore a wide range of Torch Songs from several different genres (each suitable for your audition binder), and will offer basic techniques to help personalize each song. Come share!
