Always afraid that your audition song is too long, too overdone, or just "all wrong?" As a practical alternative to "Top 10 Never-Sing" lists (and other unhelpful internet memes), this workshop will take some of the mystery out of singing auditions, explaining which factors DO make a difference in preparation, and debunking "urban audition legends."
Topics will include guidelines for effective cuts, "decoding" audition directions, and other topics based upon the needs of individual singers. Expect a relaxed atmosphere as we treat every song as an experimental work-in-progress. Singing participants should bring their audition "books." Auditors at all levels are welcome!
