Demonstration (with some opportunities for hands on) of Blocking hats with steam. We will explore the materials and techniques required to block felt and straw hats with steam, with a focus on styles and practices for the theatre. Techniques may include: blocking straw with steam, blocking felt steam, wiring your edges, installing the sweatband, and finishing techniques.
