Ross Fleming, MFA, Assistant Professor of Scene Design and Technical Director and Head of Design for UTEP, has been working in theatre as a designer and technical director for over 15 years. He has designed or technical directed over 200 shows for educational, professional, and community theatres throughout the southwest. He has worked with such companies as the Alley Theatre, Milwaukee Rep, and the Arizona Theatre Company. Along with several awards from American College Theatre Festival for both design and Technical Direction his proudest achievements are that of his students who are working all over the US as Production Managers, Carpenters, Riggers and some that are following his footsteps in Educational Theatre as TD’s and Designers.
